Here are the top hotels and resorts in Africa, as voted for by you in the Readers' Choice Awards 2024

Home to one of the most captivating wildlife and landscapes on the planet, Africa has no shortage of spectacular safaris and sprawling sandy stretches of land. A surge in interest in wildlife-watching and nature-based experiences is perhaps the reason behind hotels in South Africa gaining dominance. This year, recent Marrakech hit Riad Botanica was praised for its rooms and Cape wineland favourite Le Quartier Français for its food.
As part of Condé Nast Traveler's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards, they're listing the very best hotels in Africa, including luxury lodges from big-name brands to boutique boltholes across Northern and Southern Africa. The scores below are percentages representing overall average levels of satisfaction.
